There were two main reasons I made the switch to digital photography. The more common one - convenience. And the slightly more obscure - veganism (conventional photography requires the use of gelatin). But after seeing today’s La La Land submission, from a lomo user, my lomo lust has again increased. Since I first came across lomography a few years back, I’ve been hooked. From the camera’s intriguing origins and revival, to the beautifully eerie photos it outputs. But alas, until film can be made animal-friendly, I will have to live vicariously through the lomo adventures of others. Sigh.
