Been seeing the interview chain around at other sites, and, while enjoying the Q&A, had thus far avoided it myself…afraid of the questions I might draw, and of content not completely under my control. Yet I like the collaborative nature of it, so here goes, after a brief explanation.
How it Works
1. Send me an email, saying you want to be interviewed.
2. I will respond by asking you five questions.
3. You’ll update your website with my five questions and your five answers.
4. You’ll include this explanation.
5. You’ll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
The 5 Five Questions
My five questions are bought to you by Alison of the lovely Lalaland.
1. What has been your career high and low?
High: hopefully it hasn’t happened yet.
Low: it’s a tossup. Between working for $3.85/hour at a movie theater, being burned by hot fake butter and always reeking of popcorn…and working 12-hour days for much better pay, but missing out on too much of my son’s toddlerhood. Happily both careers have come to an end.
2. What does your mom wish you were doing instead?
Speaking to her.
3. I would drop everything to:
Photograph something that catches my eye; brush my teeth; read a good book; play a game of Scrabble (it happens so rarely); help the people I love.
4. When I think of Canada I think:
Of several enviable things…universal health care; better public transporation; more gun control and less violent crime; and the Kids in the Hall.
5. What is your vital daily ritual?
My morning cup of coffee and a good cuddle with my son.
