I Doubt If You Measure Danger The Same Way I Do

Failed to mention that the husband and I got out last night. It was our first date, without the little man, since we’ve been married. That’s sorta sad. Sadder still, we’re pretty broke…so we settled for The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. It’s playing at the second run theaters and Tuesday night is dollar night. So we figured, what the heck? It wasn’t nearly as bad as we thought it would be, though it could have been much better. Story of my life. Unfortunately I have one unpleasant reminder of last night that just won’t go away. Feels as though the inside of my mouth has been burned up and scoured out…by sour patch kids. I swear, I bought the smallest packet possible. And speaking of corrosive elements…I’ve given up coffee. Again. We’ll see how long it lasts this time. The longest I’ve abstained thus far has been three years. Which ended about three years ago. Perhaps this is a new pattern I’m establishing, three years on, three years off. Just giving yawl a heads up. My coherency level is likely to drop along with my caffeine intake.
