I’ve had a yen to move to the Bay Area (i.e., vegan paradise) for some time now, but it’s been prohibitively expensive. Now there’s another reason to hold off on that plan. What are those crazy Californians thinking? And who will be their next governor, Jean-Claude Van Damme or Steven Seagal? Though I think Jackie Chan, Jet Li or Michelle Yeoh would be better choices. At any rate, I’d miss the changing of Minnesota’s seasons. And our oddball weather, giving us 80 degree days in October, less than a week after the first freeze of the season. Though I could do without the asian lady beetles that have been swarming throughout the state. It’s nearly time for our lunchtime picnic with the ladies. Hopefully the ladybugs will steer clear of our food.
Update: Bugless blue skies, a good variety snacks + excellent company = a lovely picnic.
