Before I toddle off to bed, why not throw out a blend of potentially useful and useless tidbits?
- President Arthur was born 174 years ago today. Who shot who in the what now? Perhaps the most unknown of the unknown, President Chester A. Arthur came from relative obscurity, became our 21st President by way of a heinous event, accomplished little and never had a chance to seek a second term.
- It’s time for the October episode of Making Fiends.
- Yawl rocked the vote, and I heartily thank you for your input. We wound up with six votes for Invicta (Exhibit B), three votes for Columbia (Exhibit A), and three undecided. But since this isn’t really a democracy we’re going with the Columbia coat. Before you start groaning, there was an issue with European sizing…but more importantly one of those Exhibit A votes came from the little man himself. As he’s the one who’s going to be wearing the coat I thought we ought to let him choose.
- The A-Team Resolves Lapses in Homeland Security (via 42short).
- Cloud King is a place to see and be seen.
- Riverside (Iowa) has been “punk’d” by William Shatner.
- If you’ve ever wanted to hear your voice come out of a Marvel Superhero’s body…
- Speaking of superheroes, just one more month until The Incredibles premiere…and the premiere of Chuck’s baby, Blogumentary. Can’t wait.
Time for nigh nigh.
