I was toying with goofy titles for my impending novel when I stumbled on a great op ed piece - about zombies and popular culture. Nicely done!
Five more fun things:
- Thai-style translation: The Moustache is Tiny Squid Roasts.
- Happy Birthday to Amanda today! And Sheela’s birthday is Saturday! Which will also be her last Cupcake Saturday at Letterbox. Here are the Halloween and birthday cupcakes to mark the occasion(s).
- Sean Tubridy’s Toys on Roids polaroid/art show opens at SooVac on Friday, November 7th.
- Tooya! A Taiwanese graffiti blog.
- I’m a long time fan of Shawnimals and the plush Wee Ninja but now there’s a Wee Ninja game for the Nintendo DS, called Ninjatown. Neat.
Tonight I have yet to decide if I’ll be attending the NaNoWriMo kickoff party, with the boy in tow. Maybe if he brings his DS to keep himself busy. But I feel like I have all sorts of Halloween prep left to do. Never mind we had a dry run this morning, with the lad’s “Book Character Day” parade at school. At least I did score a volunteer to hand out candy tomorrow night, while we trick or treat through the neighborhood.

Is that going to be the name of your novel? Cause I LOVE IT! You always have such good titles for your entries, your chapter titles will kick butt. Good luck with the novel.
Thanks! That’s one potential title (taken from a Yo La Tengo song) but I’d rather go with something shorter for the novel, and maybe save my usual long-winded titles for the chapters. Hmmm.
