Managed to turn my cranky dial down for today but I’m still all about being home and staying cozy. Sadly this meant skipping the gym after work, but I’m hoping to make up for it tomorrow night. Complete with post-workout swimming and/or hot tubbing. For now, sorting out what to make for dinner and whether or not to bake a pumpkin pie to go along with it. It’s that kind of night.
Another five item variety pack:
- More pigeon talk from my people today! What gives?
- Europe to Shoppers: You May Now Eat Abnormal Veggies
- The Particle Zoo: Subatomic Particle Softies. So cute! I’m partial to Dark Matter.
- Little Big Planet looks like a neat game, but dagnabit it’s only for PS3. We’ve got an old Gamecube console, a Nintendo DS and a Wii to open come xmas time. That’s enough.
- Hoping to attend BlogHer in Chicago in July, with or without my co-workers of the Geek Girls Guide. Especially since I won’t be heading down for the Burning Fight Book Release/Show in May. Damned thing sold out in less than 24 hours.
Agenda for the rest of the evening? Dinner / homework / a bath for the stinky boy / his bedtime / then writing like the wind for me. Or so I hope.

best game ever?

Truly addictive and visually yummy, vaguely educational. Is that real snow? ACK! Brrr.
That is, indeed, real snow. But it has since melted. Today we’re back to almost-freezing rain. Wheeeee!
Spore looks pretty awesome. I really need to get the boy’s laptop fixed. Hmmm.
