My brain capacity has been diverted to other projects lately. Don’t worry, it’s only temporary. In the meantime enjoy some random awesomeness:
- Neil Gaiman on Talk of the Nation, Taking A Look Back At Batman
- In theaters for one week only Watchmen: Director’s Cut (next week it will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray).
- Tomorrow I will be too busy to drop by Robot Love for their anniversary celebrations, but you should go!
- Tweets from space! And Apollo 11 Partial Restoration HD Video Streams. And here’s the story that explains how the tapes got lost, and then found (kinda).
- Japan’s Top Model is now a robot and 8 real-life robots that could kill us all
- Happier things from Japan? The world’s oldest continuously operating company. I want to go to there.
- In Azerbaijan, a Donkey Suit Provokes Laughs and, Possibly, Arrests
Have a lovely weekend!

Fascinating article! Love bits like this:
“The animals taste with their tentacles, he said, and seemed to be touching him and his wet suit to determine if he was edible.”
But so sad that they are forced into hostile territory in search of food and then end up dying. Sigh.
